Both teams played extremely hard, the student bodies and patrons for both teams cheered loudly, and the score was close the entire game. When speaking with Coach Morris after the game, we both agreed that the worst part of a game like last Wednesday's was that both teams couldn't win. I'm guessing the teams will probably meet up again before the season is over, so you may have another chance to see a great game. I challenge students from Cambridge, Council and Midvale to become that excited for every game your school has. I bet you'll have a lot more fun watching future gamesl Also in remembering last week's game, I remember how great the bands sounded. I say bands because the Cambridge and Council High School bands combined into one for the game. What a great experiencel As mentioned last week, the Tri-Valley girls' basketball team will be competing this weekend at the state tournament. The girls are scheduled to play at 1:15 on Thursday and either I: 15 or 6:15 on Friday. The varsity boys' basketball team will be beginning district toumament play on Saturday, February 18. The Titans are scheduled to play the winner between Compass Charter and Garden Valley at 6:00 in the McCall-Donnelly High School gym. As a reminder, we will not have school on Monday, February 20 in observance of President's Day. Regular classes will resume on Tuesday, February 21.
