Do you have any special plans for this day? Is it your birthday or qs it just another day?. I'm not much of a holiday person myself; oh I observe Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter and the 4th of July, but I think there are far too many holidays. The idea of celebrating every thing from A to Z is unappealing to me. If you want to remember someone, why not just do it today. Why. do we have to wait until Christmas to send out yearly letters telling everyone, no matter how little interest they might have in knowing, that our grandkid graduated kindergarten? Why not just do it today and send it out to the people who might actually care? I've never been able to figure these things out. I suspect that most traditions are created by by Janice Cawyer 257-3358 Page 3 marketing people to help retailers sell products, and that somehow we have collectively bought into the hype. I think there might be more than a few like me out there as I have yet to receive any feed back on asking for suggestions on how to celebrate Leap Years day. As you might have guessed, I'm not planning anything for that day at seniors. We are just going to eat a delicious chicken dinner and enjoy each other's company. Come and join US. This past Wednesday will be the last time that our food pantry will be serving residents of Adams County. There are currently two food pantries in the Council area where residents of Adams County can go to for help.
