The publication date of the NOA in the Federal. Register can be verified at http://www.gpoaccess.gov/fr/index. html. Also on April 6, 2012, Forest Supervisor Keith Lannom signed the Record of Decision (ROD) selecting Alternative 5 Modified (Selected Alternative) of the Project FEIS. The Project area consists of National Forest System lands located in T16N, RIE, Sections 1-29 and 32-35; T16N, R2E, Sections 6, 7, 18, and 19; T17N, RIE, Sections 1-36; T17N, R2E,.Seetions 5--8, 17-21, and 28-31; T18N, RIE, Sections 8, 9, 17, 20-23, 25-28, and 31-36, Boise Meridian, and is two air miles east of Council, Idaho. On decommissioned roads, dispersed camping sites adjacent to open FS System roads will be improved where no resource concerns are identified. Additional aspects of the decision are disclosed in the ROD and FEIS. The decision documented in the ROD is subject to appeal pursuant to Forest Service regulations at 36 CFR 215. Appeals must meet the content requirements of 36 CFR 215.14. Only individuals or organizations who submitted comments or otherwise expressed interest in the project during the comment period on the DEIS specified at 215.6 may appeal this decision. Appeals, including attachments, must be postmarked or received by the Appeal Deciding Officer within 45 days of the pub- lication of the legal notice in the Idaho Statesman, Boise, Idaho which ran on April 6, 2012. Attachments postmarked or received after the 45 day appeal period will not be considered. This date is the exclusive means for calculating the time to file an appeal.
