I have to confess to a mix up concerning the butte on the north side of Dukes Creek a few weeks ago. At least one person called in to give the name of the butte or mountain, and "Knots" and "Notch" sound so much alike that I think it got written down as Knots when it should have been Notch. qhere is a notch in the butte that looks something like the rear site of a gun. -Tae prize for this week's v inner will be a jar of Lomation Salve from D&L Herbs of Council. Entrie must be in by 4:00 on Monday. Good luck! Last week's phot was taken from the "McMahan's Bluff" (arrow) south of Fruitvale, looking north. This picture was laken from the cross on "Fisk Hill, i looking southeast. Find us on Facebook If the photo from Last week's "Where is -his?" could have zoomed in about a half mile, it could have taken the picture of the Easter sunrise service on "Fisk Hill" (or as my family calls it "the Hill Pasture") from almost exactly the same angle- - except, of course, the timing would have been off.
