Determining the value of real and personal property for tax purposes is the first step in property tax administration,. The duties of the assessor in regard to this function are prescribed in Title 63 of the Idaho Code. Real Property Assessment [Editor's note: In a nutshell, "real property" is all land, structures, firmIy attached and integrated equipment, anything growing on the land, and "interests" in the property.} Assessment of real and personal property that is entered on the property rolt is at continuing process.
