Page 10 Wednesday, May 23, 2012 The Adams County Record Cambridge Principal Notes Last Wednesday, we had our lifetime fitness day. Once again "we took students to Copperfield Park near Oxbow Dam and spent a day playing in the sun. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all in the community who donated their time and resources to help make the day a success. In particular, thank you to Washington County Sheriff's Office, Tom Wood, State Track Meet R Charley Kindall, Jason Kindall, Ed Schumacher and Mike Campbell for providing boats for students to fish on Oxbow Reservoir. Also last Wednesday, we had our annual academic banquet. Former teacher and coach, Bob Johnson, was our guest speaker. A huge thank you goes out to him for his time. We would also like to thank Sandra McKee and all those who helped in the kitchen in preparing a wonderful meal! Congratulations to all of our track athletes who competed in the state meet last weekend q-hose placing in the meet were as follows: Mariah Baladez, 4th - lO0m; Victoria Branch 5th - 200m 6eh - long jump, 3rd - triple jump; Hillary Hollon 2nd - shot put; girls medley relay (Victoria Branch What's Up Doc? Elementary students learn about Gardening Last week, with the help of garden volunteer, Gayle Dixon, Council Elementary School's 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students planted carrot and wheat seeds in Council's Healthy Harvest Community Garden.
