The tank and fish eggs were provided through a grant obtained by the Forest Service as part of Idaho Fish and Game's "Trout in the Classroom" program. The students students beginning their explora- observed the life cycle of the fish until, the end of the school year, and recently released the fingerlings into the pond at Boise Cascade Park in Council. Forest Service Fishery Biologist, Jason Greenway, brought some trout from the McCall Fish Hatchery and showed the kids the inner workings of the fish. Shiver Me Timbers, As the Council Elementary students sing "Shiver me Timbers;" describing how a pirate should dress, Mrs. Pedrow, the "special buccaneer," is bedecked with each item described in the. song so that she can look like a regulation pirate.
