Combining a civics and history session with the Auxiliary, Council High School assists American Legion Auxiliary placing veteran's flags at local cemeteries. Marion Feil and Dawn Holmes, with stu- dents Katie McCall and Caitlan Hill, placed flags at the Indian Valley Cemetery. Flags at the Hornet Creek Cemetery were placed by Brenda Howard. Deceased members of the Auxiliary were also honored with flags and poppies. The placing of flags on Veteran's graves recognizes their service to the United States and our appreciation for their service.
