The Adams County Record To the Council Community FROM THE COUNCIL BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR THE COUNCIL SENIOR CENT|'R The Senior Center will continue to be open, but there will be changes. There will still be meals, but we may have to go to two days a week instead of three. The Center did not want to make this decision because they wanted to. It was made for them by the Idaho Council of Governments (their phone number is 208-322-7033) by giving the contract to CCOA. EOA has always been the provider. We can still go with CCOA, but staff hours will decrease and the Meals On Wheels program will be frozen dinners. The Board felt that it is almost impossible to do what CCOA wants us to. We need your ideas and support by coming to the Center, eating lunch, volunteering and using it. If we go independent, there can no longer be donations for the lunches. They will have to be paid for. The Center can't function without funds, volunteers and support. This does have to come from the community, and that is all of us. We have to pay a cook, a part- time person and we have to keep the building in shape. If you need more information, call 253- 4282 or 253-4300. The thing about family disasters is that you never have to wait long before the next one puts the previous one into perspective. -- Robert Brault Open Pizza & Subs Open [ 11 am to 9pm] / , ClosedTuesdaysl t I 4o6 Illinois Ave. I I ("1 Itf'" Council I I " "" 253-6233 I COMPUTERS Complete systems, new and used Speciafizing in laptop repair and service Laptop ID and Motherboard replacement Networking wireless and conventional Virus and spDvare removal, data recovery Larry Fisk 208-253-6073 lnfisk@etcwelxnet Wednesday, July 18, 2012 Page 13 State Budget Year ends better than expected Governor C.L.
