I, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33; T16N, R2E, Sec. 19; T17N, RIE, Secs. 22, 26, 27, 28, 29, 31, 32, 33, 34, and 35. Boise Meridian, Adams County, Idaho. The Forest Service will receive sealed "Best Value" offers at the Supervisor's Office, Payette National Forest, 800 West Lakeside Avenue, McCall, ID 83638, on or before 4:30 pm local time September 5, 2012, for an estimated 39,683 Tons (13,753 CCF) and 4594 Tons Optional Biomass marked or otherwise designated for cutting and 4 stewardship activities. Stewardship mandatory activities are: Road Decommissioning on approximate- ly 8.7 miles; Post harvest thin and slash work on approximately 714 acres, Plantation thinning on approximate- ly 245 acres with 14 acres of sawlog removal. Stewardship optional activities are: Chip and remove landing slash of approximately 4594 tons. The Forest Service will evaluate com- petitive offers submitted by offerors who present a price offer and technical proposal according to the information found under the section in the offer title "Instructions to Offerors." One award will be made to the offeror whose proposal is technically acceptable and whose technlcal/prlce relationship is the "best value" to the Government. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all offers. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the offices listed below. The stream channel will also be repaired to improve fish habitat. The road will be closed during the repair work from Iuly 31 through August 18, 2012. The closure will begin at the junction of Road #172 Road with Bench Creek Road # 181 (T17 N, RIE, Sec: 15) to Road's junction with Dewey Creek Road # 487 (T17N, RIE, Sec. 13). The closure is necessary to insure the safety of the public and work crews. A detour around the closure area is possible via Bench Creek Road # 181, Dry Beaver Road # 149, or Joker Creek Road # 486.
