David's father, Gordon MacGregor, was a contractor for the Boise Payette Lumber Company, which later became the Boise Cascade Corporation. David MacGregor showed several films of logging and sawmill operations around Council. After his logging days, Gordon Went into the construction business, eventually merging with Triangle Construction to form the MacGregor Triangle Construction Company. David showed film footage of that company building a number of major railroad grades, bridges, electrical towers, highways, etc. in the Northwest. sorts, in photos from his father's Retired loggers from David left several copies albums, as possible.
