Testing Dates Set October 17 Council juniors and seniors will be taking the ASVAB test This is an aptitude test given free of charge by the military to look at a students skills and aptitudes. This is used for career guidance. Some of the juniors will be taking the National Merit Exam (pre SAT). This test, called the PSAT/NMSQT, is given for scholarship purposes and costs the student $14. Students may take the PSAT/NMSQT for practice during their sophomore year. Both tests will be given from 8:00 a.m to 12:00.
