There didn't seem to be any doctor that would risk surgery to fix a large aneurism on or near his heart that could have ruptured at any time. Well, it turns out there was one doctor in Salt Lake City who agreed to try the surgery. Last week he repaired Earl's aneu- rism, and Earl is recov- ering at Salt Lake. His friends and family are encouraging folks to send Earl a Christmas card or greeting, as he is spend- ing Christmas in the hos- pital. Cards and letters should be sent to: Patty Harem, room 181, Ramada Limited, 2455 So. State, Salt Lake City. UT, 84115. Anita Dubose conducts the Council High School band. BY LAURA PERKINS It was sounding a lot like Christmas Wednesday night at the Council High School Christmas Concert. Though few in numbers, the High School Choir entertained the audi- ence with songs such as "A Gospel Noel" and "We Need A Little Christmas'~ Jac Cook, Tyson Ivey, Hannah Linford, Dionna Martin, and Katie McCall See CHRISTMAS CONCERT, page 2 WHERE IS THIS?
