Sue and Eva went to their favor- ite beautician for a hair cut. Then Eva attended her day at Day Care. Sue, Joe and Tina drove to Payette. They enjoyed lunch with Don and Lucy Miller at the Hide Away and had ~ great visit. Crossword Puzzle I The Millers returned to their home in Mt. Home and the Warners drove over to Ontario to do some shop- ping before returning home. 'Gall Routson spent a few days with Dan and Sauni McGahey. She was busy making several kinds of candy when I called and had a good visit with her hosts, Nan Rankin and Lowell Tietje are enjoying a visit from Nan's son and family, Chad and Jenn and children, Tyler and Ashley. They drove down to spend Christmas with Lowell and Nan, and will return to their home near Seakfle. (Nan spelled the name where they live but I gave up on that.) The children are loving the snow. Collin, Will and Emily McGahey spent several days with their grandparents, Sauni and Dan. Later the parents, Jack, and Jim and his wife, joined them to spend Christmas at Bear. The Warner clan spent Christmas Eve with Tina for supper and the opening of gifts: Joe and Sue, Ben with children Oscar and Eva and Sam and Sarah Warner from Bear; Arlen Warner and Don Armstrong, Gaye and Martin Carter, Cindy, Greg and John Hulin and Branden and Sandra Ward and their children Jasmin, Tyson and Tayler from Council. Senator Crapo charged with D UI BY DALE FISK As of Monday morning, Senator Mike Crapo had nothing on his web page about the fact that he had been arrested for drunk driving in the early hours of Sunday morning. Crapo was pulled over for running a red light around midnight in Alexandria, Virginia. His blood alcohol level was said to be .110. The legal limit is .08. q-hat night, Crapo released the following statement: "I am deeply sorry for the actions that resulted in this circumstance. I made a mistake for which I apologize to my family, my Idaho constituents and any others who have put their trust in me. I accept total responsibility and will "deal with whatever penalty comes my way in this matter." Fellow Idaho Senator Jim Risch also released a statement on Monday: "Senator Crapo has acknowledged that he made a serious mistake and he has apologized for his actions. As a friend and colleag'ae, I offer my support and help to him in any way I can.
