The Adams County Record Indian Valley & Mesa News Wednesday, December 26, 2012 friends, and Page 9 By Lynn Leatherman -- 739-5756 Larry Boehm and Bev Galloway greatly enjoyed attending the Christmas party held for the mem- bers of The American Legion in Council this past Monday evening. The meal was wonderful and they so enjoyed visiting with the other members. On Tuesday, Bev had an appointment with Dr. Iwasa in Ontario. Wednesday was-spent going between Meridian and Boise for three pre-op appointments for Bey who is scheduled for surgery with The Spine Institute in the near future. Thursday, Bey started her day receiving one of those remainder of the week, Bev settled down to writing her Christmas cards. The Veselka household is till to the brim with the wonderful sounds of children and grandchildren for an old fashioned Christmas. Charlie, Stina, Tyree and Lily arrived on Wednesday and are spending time between Indian Valley and Stina's family in Cambridge. Thursday brought Julie and Carrie back home. Friday, Maggie, Dan and Grace Baker arrived from Keyport, WA; lane, Neff, Noah and Madelyn came from Twin Falls; Sarah from PocateUo the celebrations. Wanda and Tony Morgensen enjoyed having grandson, Victor KeUy and his wife, Rachel, and their two girls, Samantha and Nicole, up on Sunday to visit for the day. Daughter, Marcia, and grandson, Jesse, were there for the weekend. Wanda was putting the final touches on their stocking, to be hung by the chimney with care, on Sunday evening, and they are looking forward to a wonderful family Christmas. Jim and Lavonne Conner did their annual cleaning up of the closets this past week and headed to Nampa scam phone calls saying and Harmon, Tanya, Jaxson, to The Lighthouse Mission with their collection of boxes stuffed full to donate on Thursday. They especially like to help this charity as they work with the veterans, who hold a special place in their hearts. Jim and Patty Shaw enjoyed another trip to Caldwell with their friends, Paul and Patty, and did a little bit of Christmas shopping while out. Tom and Judy Green finally made it back home on Thursday. Their daughter, Janel, drove them home from Arizona, staying for a couple of days before she headed back. They stopped to visit Connie and Delmar Morris in Henderson, NV and Linda and Buster Hoffman in Hawthorne, NV. They stayed the night with Tom's sister, Bonnie Tumbleson in Sparks, NV. Thursday they were up early and had breakfast with niece, Diana and Larry, before hitting the windy arriving home to 17 degree weather, after Arizona, was not the Christmas present she was hoping for! Robin Juica enjoyed being part of the fire department training held this past Tuesday for the Indian Valley Rural Fire Department. Josh Barritt and Tony Dunham presented the class on Electric Vehicle Safety. On Friday, Celestino and Robin headed to Ontario to do a few things and enjoyed a wonderful celebration at Fiesta Guadalajara combining their Christmas evening out and anniversary. Congratulations on your anniversary, which is on New Year's Eve. Many more happy years are wished for you both. The Bolls are enjoying having all three kids home Jacob Bumgarner came to visit over the weekend. The family enjoyed attending the Nic Bauer Alumni games in Cambridge on Saturday night. Both Chal and Hayden played in them. Hayden joined many friends in the farewell talk and get together, for his friends, Rodney Hollon and Alex Loveland on Sunday. Ron and Janet Meyer enjoyed having about thirty friends and family members over on Sunday for a Christmas get together. Janet was up and cooking by 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, and pulled the last dish from the oven as friends started to arrive that afternoon. Also, attending were Janet's mother, Libby Squires of Boise, and her brother, Rob Squires of Soda Springs, for the holidays, and who was a very special treat. one additional one, as Son, Charlie was braving Chal's friend, Natasha, is the snowy roads to make celebrating withthem.
