The Community Bulletin Board is designed to give readers information about upcoming events and allow folks to make announcements of
general community interest. Items of 50 words or less from non-profit groups and community organizations will be printed once free of

2012 Dog Tags are Past Due!
Come into City Hall today to purchase your tagsl Altered:
$15.00, Unaltered: $30.00.
If tags are not purchased by March 15th 2012, Dog Tag
prices will double per City Ordinance #432.

Benefit Dinner
There will be a benefit spaghetti dinner for Vanderpools
(whose house burned last week) on Monday, March 19 at
the elementary school from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The price will
be $5.00 per person or 820.00 per family. For more infor-
mation, contact Lori at 741-1082.
Fish donations needed
The annual X-Club Fish and Chicken Fry will be held on
April 22nd. Anyone who has been fishing and would like to
donate fish can bring them to the Seven Devils Cafe after
April 20th. This benefits our burn out fund, which helps
people who have had a fire.
Library Membership Drive
The Council Valley Friends of the Library is holding their
annual membership drive. Membership is $5.00 a person
or 5 hours of volunteer time at the library. Membership
money helps to fund projects and purchase books or other
Items the library needs.
Stop by the library to pay for your membership or call
253-6004 for more information.
Dr. Suess Day
Saturday March 10 will be Dr. Suess Day at the Council
Library. From 9:00 to 10:30 there will be a free breakfast of
Green Eggs and Ham, Games, stories, and an appearance
by Cat in the Hat.
WICAP Assistance
WICAP and Alltel Wireless will be in Council on March 12
& 27 from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM at the Council WICAP
Office.
WICAP will be providing last minute energy assistance,
along with additional help (ff needed). Bring your current
heat source bill.
Alltel Wireless will be available to set up new phone
accounts with WICAP clients. No credit checks. 500 talk
minutes and 500 text minutes for only $10 per month.
Your phone, activation and first 500 minutes are all free.
Great Meetings Class
Don't forget about Jana Kemp's great meeting class on
March 8, 6-8 p.m. at the Extension office conference room.

Campground Host Needed
Idaho Fish & Game is looking for a volunteer host for
the Horsethief Reservoir camping area. This is an unpaid,
volunteer position, and applicants must have a fully self-
contained recreational vehicle. A small per diem is offered
to help hosts defer some expenses.
Located just east of Cascade, the 260-acre site is man-
aged as a rainbow trout fishery and is a popular summer
destination for anglers and other recreationalists.

'¢Fhe Fosdick" Benefit Scholarship- 2012
The Meadows Valley Benefit Golf Tournament known as
'he Fosdick" is offering scholarships to graduating seniors
at Meadows Valley ,High School, to a MVHS graduate
attending college, and/or a non-traditional applicant who
has previously graduated from MVHS or GED program and
is a Meadows Valley resident.

information. Applications must be received by Monday,
April 16, 2012.
Spring Library Book & Bake Sale
Friday, March 16th from 1 lam - 6pm & Saturday, March
17th from 11am - ?
Book prices: Paperbacks 25€, Older Hardbacks 50€,
newer books, videos & audios $1.00.
We need volunteers to help with the sale and donations
of baked goods! If you would like to help set-up, clean-up,
sell and organize books, please contact the library at 347-
3147 for more information. If you would like to donate
items for our bake sale, please drop your items off (pack-
aged in groups of 6 for items like cookies, muffins, cup-
cakes, brownies, etc. - larger items such as whole cakes
or pies can be packaged individually) on Thursday, March
15th between 11:30am - 5:30pm. All funds raised will be
used to support the library through the purchase of new
books, helping with the cost of programs and supplies and
more.

Mandolin Concert
Recording artist, Evan Marshall will share his uniquely
recognizable approach to the mandolin at the Meyer-
McLean Performing Arts Theater at the Four Rivers
Cultural Center in Ontario, Oregon, on Thursday, March
22, 2012 at 7:30 pm. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Concertgoers
are advised to use the South parking lot and East doors of
the venue. Advance tickets are available at Four Rivers Gift
Shop, Greifs Music Store and at the door on the evening
of the performance. Individual tickets are adults / $25 and
students / $10. For more information about Community
Concerts of Treasure Valley performances, membership

PNACAC is hosting its annual Boise College Fair on
Saturday, March 10, 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM at the Boise
State Student Union Building, Simplot Ballroom. Over
60 colleges from the Northwest and beyond will be repre-
sented. It's an excellent opportunity for students to explore
