On Thursday, June 30, a
4-H achievement day was
held at the Fair building in
Council.
Approximately 20 4-Hers
participated. The projects
were evaluated so changes
can be made prior to the
Fair in July.
Sixteen members were in-
volved in a judging contest.
They learned to judge knit-
baked products.
The Foods Club advised
by Elsie Carter and Carma
Crabb gave a group demon-
stration. Other demonstra-
tions were given by Deena
Murphy, Sue Schwartz and
Kathy Harvey.
The 4-H club members
and leaders would like to
thank the local judges who
helped with the morning's
program.
The 4-H judging contest
and demonstration contest
will be July 18 in the fair
building.

FAR OUT FRYERS

We called the meeting to
order June 28. Donna Har-
vey gave her demonstration
then we all made omlets.
After we ate, we practiced
on a skit we will do on
Achievement Day. We elec-
ted a new reporter, Jodie
Crabb.
Our next meeting will be
held on July 6th at Mrs.
Carter's home.
The Council 4-H live-
stock club had a wiener
roast June 13, at the Ferrel
Crossley Ranch at Good-
rich.
On June 28, The 3' B's,
Child Development group,
met at 9:30 a.m. to go
over achievement day.
