The water conditions in
Adams County has deter-
iorated to the extent that the
Community Action Program
is now hauling water to 9
families in the County.
These people are elderly
or disabeled or have no
means to haul their own
water. The water is delivered
in 171/= gallon containers.
Each container is filled from
the water truck. The gas for
the truck is furnished by the
county.
A survey was conducted in
Adams County and docu-
mented information to date
indicates 46 people are hav-
ing problems with domestic
wells. The Community Ac-
tion Program has submitted
a grant passed at the Region-
al level and is now in
Washington, D.C. This

Memorial Golf Tournament
