These awards are a part of the summers hard work, by all of us, yet, after the work is over, 4-H is tucked away for another season, with parents, leaders and kids breathing a sigh of relief. Yet, while the kids are looking forward to getting their years pins, and receiv- ing their "special" trophies, while the leaders are still busy planning the "special" night, we parents are back in our rut of daily routine. I am hoping this year will be different for all of us. I am hoping more families will participate in this special event, giving our best to our 4-H Leaders and our kids.
