The children slept in sleeping bags in the front room, their eyes sparkled, reflecting the lights of the Christmas tree lights and they sang Christmas carols accompanied by their father who is an accomplished organist. They left for Seat- tle the next day. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ogden home of Billy and Don Kessler. Mr. and Mrs. George Kessler were also present. Mr. and Mrs. Don Mentor entertained their son Jeff Mentor and his girlfriend Vickie Evans for Chrietm~ dinner, along with the rest of their family. Clyde and Ethel Stewart had Mr. and Mr. Frank Smith and Eddie, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Stewart and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Smith and family for Christmas Eve dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Johnson enjoyed having their children home for Christmas. Mr. and Mra. Bill Applegate and children from Mrs. Keith Haynes and daughter from Seattle spent the Christmas holidays. Jim and Martha Poyner went to Weiser Christmas Eve. to visit their son Rod Poyner and family. They returned to Council Christ- mas Day. Mr. & Mrs. Boles are also foster parents. their high school children Becky and Danny to the Missionary Fellowship Bible Camp at McCall. Wayne Morris is home from his school for about three weeks. Children from the Council Christian Academy will give a singing program for the Senior Citizens at their regular luncheon on Jan. 3rd. Laura Camp reports lots of activities going on during this holiday season. First of all, the whole family on the Jenkins side got together on Christmas Eve at the home of the senior NeILO Jenkins. Among those present were Melvin and Aline Jezdd~ and family, Carol and David Kessler, and family, Nello and Sherry and family, Ralph Jenkins from Emmett, Margaret Jenkin's father Alan Gilroy was them also. All the family was there but one brother and hm who live in Boston. Of counm Jim and Laura Camp and their family were there. The children got together and put on a skit and sang carols. This is a yearly Christmas tradition which is lovely. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Camp had his parents Barney and Mable Camp over for Christ- mas dinner. Jim Camp's birthday is on December 26Oh so Laura gave a pinnocle party for 5ira. Mr. and Mrs. Don Pear- sons will be entertaining guests, Diane Chalfemt, Zlaine's +S~ ~p~a, ug_ h ter, and Ruth Moser, Elaine s mother At this point Elaine says their plans are a little vesue but they are gein8 to take Diane skiing, something ehe has been looking forward to. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ludwig entertained her mother Mrs. Edith Selby, and Chadie and Camile Cmsby at a Christ- mas dinner party. Carole Ann and Mike ....... O'Neil entertained Mike's parents Helen and Bill O'Neil for a few days before Christmas. The senior O'Neile were on their way to Moab, Utah. ?
